Pumpkin Patch

Since Sara Grace is being home schooled this year, we rotate each Monday with two other girls for some interaction and fun learning. Sara Grace loves Monday afternoons and thinks these other two moms are just the greatest teachers. Last Monday we went on a field trip to an amazing Pumpkin Patch. The kids had a blast. I was quite impressed with all they had to offer for such a good price. We will have to do this again next year for sure.

What a Pumpkin!

A huge jumping pillow or blob-they had a blast on this.

Pumpkin Day 2009

This year Sara Grace was determined to be "Mary the Mother of Jesus." We tried to convince her to be many other things but her mind was made up. The funniest part was that she wanted Lawson to be a part of it. You might think she would choose for him to be Joseph or a wise man, but that was not the case. She thought he would make the perfect donkey. I would have to agree.
So here is Mary the Mother of Jesus and her donkey............

Lots of our friends and their cute costumes.

Pumpkin Days in the Past

So I thought it would be fun to post some of the years past costumes. Sadly, I couldn't find 2007 or 2008. Poor Lawson! He has 1/2 the pics of Sara Grace. And this little one coming in March might not have any pics at all.

2007 -No pic, but this was taken in Oct and cracks me up. Look at Lawson's hair. It was like that for several months.

It Has Been One Year!

Last weekend we went to Pumpkin Kingdom. It was our one year anniversary to be in Upland, IN. The first weekend we were here a year ago, we came to this pumpkin patch. We felt this was a great way to celebrate our one year anniversary in IN! We had a lot of fun riding on the hay ride, going through the corn maze, and petting the animals.

Sara Grace was very excited to have our little neighbor come along with us.

Little Miss Ballerina

We all know that Sara Grace loves to dance. So we finally let her take ballet with her friend, Logan. They are having a blast, and we are loving watching it.

Here is a video of the girls doing leg kicks across the floor. Watch out Rockets! (You might want to mute the music to get the full experience).

Here are the sweet brothers that have to cheer the girls on each Monday evening.

Grand Finale

I don't know if anyone is still checking, but it has been a long time since I last updated our blog. We are excited to announce that our Grand Finale is on the way. I am 16 weeks and all is going well. We are blessed with a boy and a girl, so either gender is fine with us. It has been a rough four months. We have had the stomach flu twice and I have been quite sick in the evenings. Thankfully the evening sickness is getting better. We have found a good doctor here. The thing I appreciate most about him is how positive he has been toward us. No one could take Dr. Samuel's place, but I am thankful to be in good hands. My due date is March 23, but they will take the baby at least a week early. I am grateful for a peace that Bronson and I have felt during this pregnancy. So only 5 months left. Time should go quickly since there will be a few holidays from now until then, homeschooling, building a house, keeping up with Lawson, and the never ending doctor visits. I'll keep you all updated on baby p.

Our Band

I walked in this morning and Sara Grace and Lawson were so excited to show me their band. I guess it runs in the genes (but not from my genes). You'll have to mute the music down below for the full experience.
