The Latest Stats

We had a big doctor's appointment today. Sara Grace and Lawson both had their yearly check-ups.

Sara Grace finally broke her streak of being less than 100% for both height and weight. She is now 90% for height and weight= 46" tall and 51 lbs.

Lawson is our perfect square 37" (75%) 37lbs (90%).

(by the way, i still don't have my camera charger, so therefore no pics!)

Indy Mini

I did another mini marathon. I was excited about the weekend. There were three girls that I have come to love here in Upland, IN traveling down to the race together. One of the girls, Carrie, was my running partner and has helped me come a better runner. We went out to eat the night before and stayed in Indy so that we would be close to the race in the a.m. I felt well prepared and hydrated for the race. However, I will tell you it was the hardest run of my life. Here's the scoop.......
5:30- woke up
5:45- ate a light breakfast
6:30- took 2 Excedrin
7:00- ate a pack of jelly belly sport beans
7:30- race begins
At the end of mile one--felt nauseous
At the end of mile two--felt nauseous
At the end of mile three--felt nauseous
At the end of mile four--felt nauseous
At the end of mile five--felt nauseous
At the end of mile six--felt nauseous
At the end of mile seven--felt more nauseous
At the end of mile eight--felt more nauseous
At the end of mile nine--felt way more nauseous
At the end of mile ten--felt nauseous and desperate for water
At the end of mile eleven--felt nauseous and desperate for water
then I walked and ran until three feet before the finish line where it all came up.

HMMMMMMMMMMMM???? why you ask? beats me.

The ride home wasn't great. I really bonded with Carrie. She saw me at one of my worst. Thanks, Carrie!!!

In conclusion.......Just say no to Jelly Belly Sport Beans
